During our trip, we had amazing animal encounters, but quite dangerous.
One night in Kenya, we were camping on the outside of a Massai village and heard the Hyenas sneaking around the camp. Lucky that I slept in a tent on the roof of the car. In the morning, we woke up with a heard of Elephants surrounding the village.
For French Organisation BIOTRECK, I did photograph the first crossing of Africa with Biofuel.
From February to July 2007, we followed the legendary „crosiere noire“ (first crossing of a continent by car in 1924). We used similar cars, 56-year-old Citroen Traction Avant.
